An established architectural practice in the North East is seeking a proactive and highly organised Office Manager / Finance Administrator to join their friendly team. Known for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions, the firm prides itself on a collaborative and supportive working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

The Office Manager will be at the core of the firm's operations, ensuring the efficient management of both office and financial administration:

Financial Administration:

* Overseeing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate allocation within Sage Accounting.

* Generating and issuing invoices, managing company and director expenses, and overseeing supplier payments.

* Monitoring direct debits, preparing VAT returns, and assisting with corporation tax submissions.

* Managing company loans, investments, and employee benefits (P11D submissions).

* Coordinating monthly payroll, handling adjustments, tax codes, and salary sacrifices.

Office & HR Management:

* Ensuring the office runs smoothly by managing supplies and overseeing company policies and memberships.

* Supporting health and safety compliance, working alongside consultants, and ensuring all systems and records are kept up to date.

* Assisting directors with recruitment, interview scheduling, and HR record-keeping, including maintaining holiday and sick leave records.

* Handling GDPR compliance, ensuring records and policies are properly maintained.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Office Manager with a strong focus on financial administration. The successful candidate will:

* Have a proven track record in managing office operations, particularly in financial management.

* Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software such as Sage.

* Possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

* Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
