The Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. You'll:

* Support the day-to-day management and strategic development of the service.

* Lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality, child-focused care.

* Collaborate with external professionals to ensure positive outcomes for each young person.

* Act as a role model, building trusting relationships that encourage growth and development.

* Supervise and mentor staff, manage rotas, and coordinate training to enhance team performance.

* Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and safeguarding protocols.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and motivated leader who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. To be considered, you'll need:

* At least 3 years' experience in children's residential care.

* An NVQ Level 4 (or higher) in Management or Children & Young People.

* In-depth knowledge of OFSTED requirements and safeguarding practices.

* Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, supportive approach.

* Experience managing budgets and staff rotas.

* A full UK driving license.

* Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins.
