About the role

As the leading provider of creative products, services, and support in the UK, Jigsaw24 is looking for a Media and Entertainment (M&E) focused Account Manager to join the team and deliver growth through the remainder of 2024 and beyond. The ideal candidate will be well versed in selling both video and audio solutions, as well as having the capability to work with both existing clients and develop new relationships. With the current development of new technologies, working within Jigsaw24, and focusing on our media portfolio, the Senior Account Manager will be able to learn more about those solutions and deliver them to an established customer base.

Reporting to the Sales Director, M&E, you will drive commercial success through understanding the market, account management/development, and driving growth by selling current and future relevant services and solutions. Positioning Jigsaw24 as the “go-to" industry leader in providing media-specific services and solutions. This role could be based in either Nottingham or London, with some hybrid working possible.

Key duties and responsibilities are:

  • A track record of over-achieving targets in selling products and services into the M&E market, targeted against gross profit. 
  • Growing existing accounts and developing net new opportunities for Jigsaw24.
  • Work with the M&E Sales Director and wider M&E Account Management team cohesively to deliver a collective message, whilst also having the experience to be independent where required.
  • An ability to sell service and support-orientated solutions, against our media portfolio, into a selection of accounts.
  • Managing Salesforce forecasting and the ability to reflect an accurate pipeline of business to the M&E Sales Director and wider Jigsaw24 team.
  • Account management and customer engagement, understanding how to work with a demanding customer base, in an evolving industry.
  • An understanding of post-production, broadcast, and associated markets, and solutions, with a willingness to learn new offerings as part of planned engagement with the Jigsaw24 wider teams and partners.
  • Represent the business unit at relevant events, including tradeshows as well as Jigsaw24 and partner-hosted/focused meetings.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Commercial acumen.
  • Understands the current M&E landscape and where the industry is moving towards in the coming years.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Adept at removing barriers that impact delivering on goals.
  • Driven with an entrepreneurial mindset, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong, proactive communication skills, able to gain commitment and buy-in to a common vision and clearly stated goals.
  • Articulate, methodical, numerate, and literate.
  • Has successfully sold M&E services and solutions.
  • Proactive with the ability to take on constructive feedback, both internally and from customers, and ensure positive change.
