Estimator - Steelwork

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join a leading steel company based in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity to work on non-portal frame projects, including chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for complex structural steel projects

* Working with chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel, ensuring compliance with project specifications

* Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather necessary details

* Assisting in tender submissions and contract negotiations

* Managing project costs and ensuring profitability

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in the structural steel industry

* Knowledge of chimneys, ducting, and secondary steel (non-portal frame projects)

* Experience with green energy, renewables, or MOD/Nuclear projects is a plus

* Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
