We are now recruiting for a Sixth Form Study Supervisor to join one of our Client`s Sixth Form Department.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join an Outstanding school and further contribute to the life chances of young people in the school and across the Trust.

Main Purposes of the Role:

* To contribute to the ethos and direction of the Sixth Form

* To attend appropriate in-service training provided by the school or local authority

* To attend school team meetings.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Supervise a purposeful study environment and culture in the Sixth Form Study Centre

* Support students in developing effective independent study skills

* Support the Sixth Form and Careers team in promoting aspirational destinations to leading universities and degree level apprenticeships

* Support with securing high levels of attendance

* Contribute to the recruitment and retention activities

* Maintain registers of students during study periods

You will need:

* Good numeracy/literacy skills / GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English

* Willingness to participate in development and training opportunities

* Evidence of personal commitment to CPD

* Ability to support learning across a wide range of curriculum subjects at Key Stage 3 and 4.
