Overview:

Oversee and manage comprehensive quality monitoring process for all products.
Establish and maintain quality standards and specifications in collaboration with suppliers and customers.
Deputise for the Technical Director in their absence. o Conduct regular quality inspections with QA team as and when required.
Ensure checks are completed to schedule and oversee stock quality.
Establish strong relationships with suppliers to promote quality improvement initiatives.
Provide feedback on supplier performance and areas for improvement.
Send quality reports to suppliers, informing them of arrival status and any status changes that require further actions.
Oversee testing protocols to assess product quality
Implement corrective actions for stock as necessary and in agreement with supplier.
Prepare product samples for pesticide residue testing collection.
Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
File QA documentation in relevant folders, such as SharePoint.
Maintain the Data Guard label database, label formats, and setup of new line labels.
Liaise with the commercial desk concerning the order of use for each customer.
Collaborate with contract packing clients regarding quality and labels.
Coordinate with commercial/quality & technical customer and supplier teams to resolve any quality-related complaints.

Skills:

Excellent attention to detail
Experience in fresh produce industry.
Experience of HACCP / BRC is a ESSENTIAL.
Technically capable, the chosen candidates will need to be IT literate and demonstrate competencies of operating/understanding spreadsheets.
Great communication skills and be able to easily build rapport with other colleagues and liaise confidently at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise.
React positively and flexibly to the changing needs in the overall working environment and individual role.
