About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and reliable Dump Truck Operative with experience in operating rollers to join our team on a new build housing project in Chesterfield. You will play a key role in the development of the site, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks and rollers to support earthmoving, compaction, and other groundwork activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a Dump Truck on a large-scale housing site
Operate a Roller to compact earth, gravel, and other materials, ensuring levels meet project specifications
Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance to ensure safe and effective operation
Work closely with site management and other team members to complete tasks efficiently and on time
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment on-site
Follow instructions from the Site Manager and communicate effectively with the team
Report any issues with equipment or operations immediately to supervisors
Ensure the site remains tidy and organised at all timesSkills & Qualifications:

Blue CPCS Card or NPORS Card with CSCS logo is essential
Proven experience operating dump trucks and, ideally, rollers on construction or civil engineering sites
Strong understanding of site health and safety protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a larger construction team
Good communication skills and the ability to take direction
High attention to detail, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standardWhat We Offer:
