On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join a Nursing Home in Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high standards of nursing care.
- Supervise and mentor CNMs, nurses, and care assistants, providing ongoing education and professional development.
- Conduct and monitor clinical, environmental, and medication audits, ensuring action plans are implemented.
- Manage patient-centered interactions, resolving complaints and liaising with families and the multidisciplinary team.
- Support day-to-day operations at the nurrsing home in collaboration with the DON, ensuring high-quality clinical practices.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with active registration on the NMBI.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role.
- Post registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care is highly desirable.
- Eligible to work in Ireland.
- Strong decision-making ability and motivation to foster a team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
