Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a skilled and driven Process Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in mastering production technology and maintenance techniques, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency on designated production lines. The successful candidate will utilise structured problem-solving abilities to investigate and resolve issues, implement maintenance processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As the Process Engineer, you will:

Conduct updates on focus production lines and generate improvement initiatives.

Analyse data to identify bottlenecks and drive actions to optimise key performance indicators.

Lead centre-lining activities to sustain line performance and develop Poka Yoke solutions.

Implement quality improvements to align with company metrics and reduce Total Quality Notifications (TQN).

Identify and execute opportunities for waste reduction.

Drive safety initiatives and ensure compliance with standards.

Provide engineering updates, resource deployment plans, and timings to resolve issues.

Conduct systematic problem-solving to address repeat losses and determine root causes.

Support continuous improvement (CI) projects and validations to improve equipment reliability.

Develop and improve maintenance standards in collaboration with reliability leaders.

Coach teams on continuous improvement methodologies and provide technical support for equipment breakdowns.

About You
To excel in this role, you will need:

HNC or Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical or manufacturing environment, with expertise in high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, working both independently and collaboratively.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.

Experience in safety and ergonomics within a manufacturing environment.

A solid understanding of Quality Systems.

PLC experience (preferred but not essential).
