About the Company: Our client is a leading provider of bespoke solar PV and renewable energy solutions for businesses across the UK. With extensive experience in the sector, they specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of commercial solar PV systems, supporting organisations to reduce carbon emissions, optimise energy costs, and achieve sustainability goals.

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Tendering Manager / Bid Writer to oversee the preparation and submission of compelling tender and bid documentation. This role also includes elements of account management, ensuring that client needs are met throughout the bidding process. The successful candidate will be part of a 15-person team, working closely with colleagues to support the company's growth and success in the renewable energy sector. The role requires regular office presence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the tendering and bid writing process from start to finish, ensuring all deadlines are met.

* Develop and submit high-quality, winning bids that align with client requirements and company objectives.

* Oversee and support the account management process, acting as a key point of contact for existing and prospective clients during the tender process.

* Collaborate with internal teams, including technical, sales, and operations, to gather key input for tender documents.

* Maintain and update a database of tender materials, templates, and case studies to streamline future bids.

* Track tender outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

* Ensure compliance with tender specifications and submission guidelines.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and ongoing engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Demonstrable experience in tendering, bid writing, and/or account management.

* Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and high-quality bid documentation.

* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

* Experience working within the renewable energy, construction, or a related technical sector is desirable but not essential.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
