Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Grantham, NG31

Daily Rate: £100 - £110 per day

Days: 5 days, Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

Job Role: Work with subject teachers and the SENDCo to support teaching and learning, by working with individuals or small groups of pupils with additional learning needs.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff
Frequently work with individual pupils with special educational needs
Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the classroom teachers
Support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils in each group you are supportingCandidate Requirements:

Previous experience in supporting students with SEMH needs
Has a strong knowledge and practical understanding of Special Needs (SEN)
Previous experience in education settings (6 months minimum)
