Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: £28,000

40 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the efficient running of our client's nursery. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young children to thrive.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above in Early Years
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of child development and early years learning frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with families
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in a nursery environment
• Commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality within the nursery community

Responsibilities

• Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery
• Support and lead a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implementation of nursery policies
• Foster positive relationships with parents and families, providing regular communication and updates
• Contribute to the development of age-appropriate curricula and learning activities
• Monitor and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children
• Assist with staff training, performance evaluations, and scheduling
