Up to £100 per dayWe are seeking a full time, experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work at one of our special educational needs schools in Greenwich. The role involves working closely with children aged 11-18 with PMLD, SLD and Autism. The school would require someone who is passionate with a clear understanding of dealing with complex and varied special needs.

The Successful Applicant:

Has previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults
Available to work 8:30am until 3:30pm from Monday to Friday
Someone who can use an arrangement of strategies for making environment and surroundings more friendly for SEN children
Adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles The job:

Working 1:1 or with small groups of students
Able to promote children's positive behaviour and supporting their development
Working with PECS and Makaton with nonverbal students
Providing help to pupils with personal hygiene care
Working to support the class teacher and working together with your dedicated classroom team
