About the Role

As General Manager, you'll work closely with the Managing Director to oversee daily operations, lead a high-performing team, and ensure the company's long-term success. This is a hands-on role for a results-driven leader who thrives on achieving operational excellence and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Leadership & Management: Recruit, lead, train, and inspire the team to achieve their potential.

* Operational Oversight: Streamline logistics, transportation, and warehousing to ensure efficiency.

* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for growth and innovation.

* Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resources for profitability.

* Customer & Supplier Relations: Build strong relationships and ensure satisfaction.

* Performance Monitoring: Set KPIs and drive continuous improvement across departments.

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role, ideally within logistics/distribution.

* Strong knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and distribution processes.

* Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing data.

* Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.

* A strategic mindset with a track record of implementing successful operational plans.

Working Conditions:

* Office-based with regular site visits to oversee operations.

* Flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet business objectives
