Location: East England | Hybrid WorkSalary: £35,000 - £45,000

Join an established ecological consultancy focused on impactful, practical solutions. We're seeking a Senior Ecologist to lead a variety of projects across East England. Based in Essex with flexible hybrid working, this role is ideal for an experienced ecologist looking to make a difference and grow their career.

Senior Ecologist Responsibilities:

• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide and support junior ecologists, ensuring quality and consistency across all projects.
• Project Management: Lead a diverse range of projects, delivering timely, client-centred ecological solutions.
• Field Surveys: Plan and execute advanced fieldwork, focusing on protected species and habitat surveys.
• Client Engagement: Build strong client relationships, offering expert, customized ecological advice.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed, compliant reports to facilitate planning and development processes.

Senior Ecologist Requirements:

• Qualifications: Degree in ecology or a related field, plus CIEEM membership.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and perform advanced ecological surveys.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of ecological legislation and field survey methods.
• Protected Species License(s)
