Are you an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Assistant Manager from a good quality large accountancy firm and experience of auditing insurance clients, looking to upgrade to a Top 10 international practice where you can carry out a high profile and varied new role consisting of audit (90%) and ad hoc advisory projects (10%)? Are you looking to continue auditing insurance clients and work for one of the main firms in the UK that specialises in large and high profile international insurance and Lloyds Syndicate clients? Are you looking for a role with great future progression and will provide you with excellent support and training so you can progress to full Manager grade in a short space of time? If so this large Top 10 firm based in Zone 1 Central London (City location), with a growing and very successful Audit and Assurance department is looking to expand and recruit an ambitious new Audit Assistant Manager to join the team which specialises in auditing insurance and financial services clients. Reporting directly to Manager and Partner level, your role will be varied and include leading audits from planning to completion, managing team, reviewing work, liaising with clients and other ad hoc duties when required. You will liaise directly with clients, manage teams and also start to be given a portfolio of clients to manage. Your role will be varied, challenging, yet hugely enjoyable. The firm also offer flexible working / hybrid working for all staff and you can work 2 - 3 days from home a week, sometimes more. They also offer all staff a great work life balance and much shorter working hours compared to other large firms.
To be considered for this new role (April 2025) you must be a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Assistant Manager (either newly qualified or with up to 3 years PQE) with strong academics including a strong exam history. You must have at least 3 years experience in a good quality accountancy firm in a role at least 70% audit based. You must have experience auditing insurance based clients and have a strong interest to continue in this area. You must be professional, dedicated to your career, a team player and looking to upgrade to a very good quality Top 10 firm to assume a varied, challenging yet highly rewarding position.
