Financial Accounting Lead – Immingham - £65,000 – £75,000 Great business, great role and excellent benefits.This progressive, fast paced blue chip business based in Northeast Lincolnshire is seeking to appoint a Financial Accounting Lead, with full responsibility for all financial accounting activities including both UK entities and Ireland. This opportunity is for a Qualified ACA, ACCA or ICAEW Accountant with the key focus areas to lead the accounting for the UK pension plan along with all financial, statutory, corporate and intercompany accounting.Package includes:

Key accountabilities will include:

• Managing and giving strategic direction to the Financial Accounting team, overseeing financial accounting for the UK Pension Plan, completion of IFRS statutory accounts
• Responsibility for the teams production and completion of the UK statutory accounts and fellow subsidiaries accounts
• Compliance with quarterly corporate reporting and year end requirements
• Overall responsibility for the foreign currency control and reporting
• Intercompany corporate requirements
• Review and sign off for balance sheet reconciliations
• Leading the external and internal auditing process
• Review, improve and standardise accounting processes

The ideal candidate will be:

• You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant with a strong financial accounting and analytical background
• You will have a sound knowledge statutory reporting requirements
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Line management experience
• You will have a proven track record in a large fast paced business, or be looking for a first or second move from practice into industry
