Storeroom Operative - Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

I am seeking a Storeroom Operative for a busy client near Bournemouth. You will work alongside a sales administration team, supporting the production and shipping of orders accurately and on time. This role is integral to the smooth running and maintenance of their warehouse and production facilities, ensuring inventory accuracy, managing supplies, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Day-to-day of the role: - Prepare orders according to work orders and company procedures, including picking inventory, coding, and labelling goods.
- Package goods appropriately for customer requirements and safe shipping.
- Manage warehouse inventory, ensuring all items are stored correctly and conducting regular stock checks.
- Maintain warehouse and production areas in a clean and organised condition.
- Recode and relabel returned goods or cancelled orders as instructed.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Adherence to all employment rules and maintenance of professional conduct.
- Punctuality and ability to follow operational procedures and health and safety directives.
- Excellent telephone manner and administration accuracy.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with a commitment to the company’s success.
