NXTGEN is partnering again with a fantastic practice in search of a new Accounts Manager. As an Accounts Manager you will join a modern and rapidly expanding firm who is dedicated to reshaping industry stereotypes and delivering exceptional financial services to a diverse client base. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Accounts Manager to join their Accounts team who can successfully contribute to their ongoing success.

As an Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the accounting operations for a portfolio of clients as well as reviewing and delegating work within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, providing strategic financial advice, and maintaining strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations for a diverse client base.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and support to clients to help them achieve their business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for accounting and financial matters.
  • Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the practice to deliver comprehensive financial solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 years' experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
