Working for an award-winning design and manufacturing business on a defence facility. Supporting the site including; offices, production areas, design areas, laboratories, stores, car park and grounds.

Maintenance Technician:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, with aid of external contractors
• Replace faulty components or parts as needed, Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental Ovens and plates with aid of external contractors
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
• Liaise with external contractors - plumbers, joiners, gas/electricians and spe,cialist engineers etc.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
• Assist with contractor liaison.
• Support and recommend improvements for Site facilities.
• Support continuous improvement projects.

Required Experience:

• Site Maintenance Technician (experience within a facilities maintenance dept.)
• Experience of maintenance of sites e.g. schools, hospitals, engineering, manufacturing sites etc.
• A competent handyman/person
• Holds a full UK driving licence
