Temporary Hotel Maintenance Person required

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join the team at one of our hotels located near Charing Cross Station. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a proactive attitude and the technical skills to keep hotel facilities running smoothly.

Position Overview:

Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Person

Location: Near Charing Cross Station

Type: Temporary (2-3 weeks, with the possibility of extension)

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00/8:30 AM - 4:30/5:00 PM; Occasional weekend work may be required

Pay: £14.28 per hour + holiday accrual (paid weekly)

Start Date: Immediate

As a Hotel Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel operates smoothly by addressing repairs, performing preventative maintenance, and promptly resolving guest issues. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, comfortable, and high-quality environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine inspections and repairs on building systems

* Address guest requests related to maintenance issues promptly and professionally

* Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the hotel operates efficiently

* Handle basic carpentry, painting, and equipment repairs as needed

* Maintain safety standards and follow all relevant health and safety regulations

* Collaborate with team members to ensure a high standard of hotel upkeep

Requirements:

* Proven experience in maintenance roles, preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment

* Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems

* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively

* Good communication and organizational skills

* Flexibility to work occasional weekends

* Immediate availability is essential
