Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a well-known manufacturer who are looking to recruit a PCB Test Engineer. Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing, the Test Engineer role will play a key role in supporting production while strengthening the company supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the Senior Test Development Engineer

* Liaise with both PCBA suppliers and internal supply chain testing equipment (including occasional supplier visits)

* Monitor tests failures, diagnose and drive countermeasures

* Update test specs, test limits and test software

* Support transition to new suppliers, the evaluation of sample boards & final sign-off

* Maintain and update testing equipment and fixtures

* Produce requirements for test equipment suppliers

* Report writing

* Support production processes as required

* Continuous improvement of testing & production processes

Key Skills & Experience

* PCB manufacturing experience

* Good test software skills

* Experience updating LabVIEW and/or TestStand software is essential

* Basic mechanical skills

* Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

* Current UK Driving License
