Leading Hand/ Joiner

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and lead a small team of joiners, labourers and handymen in the assembly and construction of annexes.

* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements

* Assist with the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures using different types of wood and materials

* Ensure the team adheres to health and safety regulations and company policies

* Oversee the quality of workmanship and ensure projects are completed within specified timelines

Skills Required:

* Proven experience as a joiner or in joinery work

* Strong leadership and supervisory skills

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

* Good understanding of health and safety regulations in construction

* Effective communication and team management skills

* Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems efficiently

* Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work

* Full driving licence

This job requires that you are willing to work away from home. Lodging is provided along with a daily allowance for food
