The role expects a talented and sales driven individual to manage a team of up to 15 Sales Consultants/Sales Administrators, based in the Essex office. Shift options vary from Earlies (9-6pm) or Lates (11-8pm) to allow for flexibility in how you manage your day and home life.

Client Details

My client are a leading, household name manufacturer of home finishings and product retailer. The role will sit within the Online Team and the role of the Sales Manager is to support the team to achieve KPIs, improve customer satisfaction, deal with complaints, as well as, being an effective leader and manager.

Description

The successful Sales Manager will have:

  • Experience managing a large team of people, ideally, office-based/store-based
  • Translates business strategy into clear objectives and challenging goals.
  • Coach your team to drive performance and hit KPIs
  • Train consultants to be well-equipped to perform their role and be hands on to support, if and when needed
  • Be an approachable and rapid responder to all Sales Enquiries, ensuring appropriate delegation to the team and managing any complaints
  • Lead by example, motivate and encourage the team to be proactive! The better the team deliver, the greater the commission will be.
  • Ensure the office is well presented and tidy for all employees and visitors
  • Ensure all Health and Safety training takes place in the office including fire training.
  • Encourages innovation and creativity.
  • Demonstrates a positive approach to change.
  • Is an enthusiastic learner who demonstrates self-awareness and reliance.
  • Ensure full controls and checks are in place to enable the security of the office.

Profile

The successful Sales Manager will:

  • Have experience managing a Sales-Based Team
  • Demonstrate examples of mentoring/coaching/developing team
  • Demonstrate how you have led teams in the past to deliver on KPIs and improve performance with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in Consumer/Retail/B2C Sales is preferred - although industry experience can vary - personality and approach, as well as demonstrating skillset in terms of the role and experience managing teams and driving sales delivery

Job Offer

On offer for the successful Sales Manager:

  • Excellent basic, up to £45,000 basic salary
  • Commission/OTE paid monthly
  • Office-based, Essex - Early shifts: 9-6pm / Late Shifts: 11-8pm - mixture of both throughout the week, can be flexible to your needs. Weekend work will be required and you will work 5 out of 7 days, split across the week. You may choose to have a set day off, and the others may require more ad hoc flexibility
  • 25 days AL + 8 days BH
