Job Title: M&E Project Manager
Location: 2x Projects either Kent or Hertfordshire (Local candidates preferred)
Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Package (dependent on experience)

Overview of the Company:
Our client is a leading M&E Contractor, specialising in delivering high-quality Mechanical & Electrical solutions across Commercial, Data Centre, Education & Student Accommodation, Healthcare, Public, Residential, and Sports & Leisure sectors. With a growing portfolio of projects across the South of the UK, the business has secured two significant custodial projects in Kent and Hertfordshire, and they are seeking experienced M&E Project Managers to join their team.

The Role:
As an M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of one of the secured custodial projects, ensuring all Mechanical & Electrical aspects are completed to the highest standard, on time, and within budget. You will oversee project planning, execution and completion while managing all stakeholders involved. The ideal candidate will have strong M&E project management experience and will be able to coordinate and lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the full lifecycle of M&E projects, from inception to completion

* Lead and supervise project teams, ensuring smooth coordination between mechanical and electrical disciplines

* Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project requirements are met

* Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and quality control procedures

* Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions where necessary

* Manage procurement processes for materials and subcontractors

* Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to senior management

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, ideally with experience in custodial or similar large-scale projects

* Previous experience working for an M&E Contractor or Main Contractor in the London area

* Strong knowledge of M&E systems, with the ability to understand both mechanical and electrical installations

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams

* Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential)

* Full UK driving license

Location & Salary:
Candidates should ideally live locally to the project in either Kent or Hertfordshire. The salary will be between £80,000 - £100,000, dependent on experience, with an attractive package included.
