Are you an experienced Commercial Underwriter across Property & Casualty insurance seeking a new position in Manchester?

If so, we have a brand-new opportunity which has come to market with a global insurance provider, as they are looking to recruit a Commercial Underwriter into their close-knit Manchester team.

The Role:

Joining the business as a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for profitably writing both Property and Casualty risks on behalf of a suite of commercial clients. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining good working relationships with a panel of brokers.

Role Requirements:

• Experience: We are looking for you to have proven experience within the insurance sector in a Commercial Underwriter role.
• Knowledge: You will ideally have good knowledge of both Property and Casualty classes of business, though we will also be happy to consider those with a singular class background.
• Technically Competent: Our client is looking for somebody who is able to demonstrate good technical competence.
• Communication & Relationship Management: Clear and effective communication skills along with the ability to develop strong working relationships with a range of people.
