Role: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary:£30,000-£40,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer with sound knowledge and experience in servicing, repairing, and installing fire alarm equipment, including emergency lighting.

Key Responsibilities

Install fire alarm systems in industrial and commercial premises to BAFE standards.
Perform small and large installations independently or as part of a team.
Service and maintain systems in line with British Standards.
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Complete accurate documentation, including timesheets, work reports, and service reports.
Conduct reactive and preventative maintenance on fire security systems.
Demonstrate systems to customers, explaining causes and consequences of false alarms.
Maintain good relations with clients and colleagues.
Participate in the on-call system.
Requirements

Proven knowledge and FIA-certified competencies (or equivalent training).
Reliable, conscientious, organized, and confident in your work.
Ability to deliver neat, high-standard work with a positive "can-do" attitude.
Strong fault-finding and technical skills in Fire Alarms, PAVA, Emergency Lighting, Nurse Call, and Disabled Refuge Systems.
CSCS card, Full UK Driver's License, and the right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS and security checks required.
18th Edition desirable (17th Edition essential).
