SALARY: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing as an Estimator

This role entails ensuring the completion of tenders aligns with survey details and bid specifications, providing comprehensive detail and costing within the specified deadlines. The primary objective is to guarantee accurate costing for each project, meeting all essential client requirements. Effective communication with manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and clients is crucial for success in this role.

The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, communicate effectively at all levels, and thrive under pressure. Attention to detail and precision are pivotal aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities

* Accountable for preparing documentation and quotations during the pre-sales stage, responding to invitation to tender inquiries from main contractors and quotation requests.

* Collaborate closely with the Sales team to fulfill customer-required bid specifications, providing detailed and competitive costing while adhering to tender deadlines.

* Utilize AutoCAD and MS Projects to generate project-specific technical documentation.

* Ensure the accuracy of technical costings for quotations, verifying part numbers and quantities.

Essential experience

* Proficient in Excel with good to intermediate skills.

* Confident in using Microsoft Office packages.

* Strong organizational skills.

* Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple overlapping quick deadlines.

* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work.

* Well-organized, demonstrating strong planning and prioritization abilities.
