A Part Time Finance Manager is needed to spearhead the Accounting & Finance department for a small company based in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations and contributing to financial strategy.

Our client is a small company, located in the beautifully historic city of Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part time basis working 20-25 hours a week.

Description

Part Time Finance Manager responsibilities:

Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
Contribute to financial strategy and decision making.
Produce timely management accounts
Cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations
Manage VAT including preparation of VAT returns for each business entity and submission of group VAT returns'.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Monitor and manage cash flow.
Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Provide financial insight and advice to the board.Profile

A successful Part Time Finance Manager should have:

An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience of organisations with multiple income streams
Experience in supervising
Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards
Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Salary on range is £38,000 - £45,000 FTE
