An expanding, financial services organisation, based in Slough, is looking for a Insurance Manager to manage their Insurance and Value Added Products. The role sits within the marketing team and will involve product development, management of third party insurers / product owners and ensure profitability of all VAP's sold with, or separate to, a car finance deal.
The portfolio consists of insured and non-insured products, as well as car insurance. The Insurance and VAP Manager will liaise regularly with Compliance, Marketing and Sales to ensure all commercial opportunities are maximised.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure products meet all consumer duty, FCA requirements and are of a high quality, providing value to consumers
- Own and Manage the product portfolio of all VAP's sold through the business
- Work closely within the Marketing team to ensure products are promoted centrally and within the retailer/dealership environment
- Liaise with the Sales Teams to ensure opportunities are maximised and profitability targets are met
- Work with the insurers, product providers and relevant third-parties to ensure contractual commitments are being met
- Develop, in line with business requirements, new products
- Design (in conjunction with IT) an insurance dashboard to report on overall performance and profitability by product
Key Skills
- Some experience of insurance essential
- Experience with Value Added Products (VAP) useful but not essential
- Product Management experience an advantage or experience of dealerships and the automotive industry
- Able to work on multiple projects at once
