Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 06:00-16:00

About the Role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be an integral part of the Maintenance Team, providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of hydraulic press systems and other on-site machinery. Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Preventive and reactive maintenance of hydraulic press systems.

* Promptly responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

* Supporting engineering and maintenance across the site.

* Servicing and monitoring hydraulic systems.

* Implementing improvement projects to enhance press reliability.

* Assisting in training apprentices as part of the team's growth.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

* Analytical and logical reasoning skills.

* A Level 3 NVQ/BTEC qualification (or equivalent).

* A strong engineering background, particularly in heavy plant equipment.

* Proven expertise in hydraulic press operation.

* Flexibility and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
