As a family-run business, they established themselves as a trusted name in the galvanizing and protective coatings sector. Rooted in safety, quality, and reliability, they are expanding their team and seeking two dedicated Forklift Drivers to join their growing company.

Job Summary

Join their team as a Forklift Driver and become an integral part of their operations. Your role will encompass a range of tasks, including goods inwards duties, loading and unloading materials, and efficiently transporting goods between our sites. Please note that this role is predominantly outside work in our yard, not in a warehouse setting. Our rotating shift system offers both morning and afternoon shifts, with the opportunity for overtime on Saturday mornings (6am-10am).

Responsibilities

* Operate forklifts safely and proficiently, handling metal materials with care

* Perform goods inwards duties meticulously

* Load and unload materials with precision and attention to detail

* Efficiently transport materials between our facilities

* Maintain strict adherence to safety and quality standards

* Ensure a clean and organised work environment

Requirements

* Previous forklift driving experience is essential and license

* Prior experience in a steelworks or fabrication company is highly desirable, given the nature of lifting metal

* Willingness to work predominantly outside in our yard, not in a warehouse

* Availability for Saturday morning overtime (6am-10am)
