Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a BIM Co-Ordinator on a permanent basis, located in Banbridge and Mallusk.

Role Summary

As a BIM Coordinator, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn how to use a range of computer-aided design software, create technical drawings, and contribute to various design projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Producing coordinated modelled solutions for elementary areas

* The production of SSDs and end sheets from the 3D modelled environment

* Incorporating changes to the co-ordinated 3D services model

* Preparation and updating of 2D drawings.

* Incorporating drawing comments in both 2D and 3D

* Applying BIM data to the model

* Raising technical queries and liaising with clients and design team members

Essential Criteria:

- A sound understanding of AutoCAD. Capable of completing tasks with minimal assistance.

- A general understanding of Revit would be beneficial.

- Proficient at annotating drawings to Accord standards.

- A basic understanding of ventilation systems, mechanical, electrical systems. An understanding of how these systems work.

- Capable of producing simple high- and low-level co-ordination of these systems.

- Basic understanding of BIM deliverables and principles.

- Basic understand manufacturing and prefabrication detailing.

- Must have a permanent work visa in place as we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
