Are you a skilled Class 1 Driver (C+E) looking for a rewarding and consistent job?

Pertemps are hiring multiple drivers for our client DHL Nisa based in Scunthorpe and are looking for regaulr full time C+E Drivers to join the team on a long term basis. You'll be delivering ambient or frozen goods to Nisa Local and Costcutter convenience stores, unloading cages filled with goods upon arrival. No need to split the cages on-site!

Before you start, you'll need to pass a Class 1 site assessment, which includes:

A drug and alcohol test
A multiple-choice questionnaire on driver's hours, the highway code, and tacho law
A driving assessmentAfter passing the assessment, you'll undergo a five-day site induction then once complete you will work with a buddy to guide you through the ropes. The entire process is paid at the hourly rate.

Shifts and Start Times

Shifts start between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday: £17.13 per hour (overtime after 42 hours at £22.78 per hour)
Saturday & Sunday: £19.27 per hour
Minimum guaranteed pay: 10.5 hours per shiftBonuses

£50 weekly bonus for working four or more shifts.
£10 per day for shifts starting before 4:00 AMQualifications

At least 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence
Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
No DR10, CD10, or IN10 endorsements, and no more than 6 points on your licenceHow to Apply
