We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide full-time support for a Year 2 student with complex needs. This is a long-term role requiring patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping children thrive in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualised support to a Year 2 student with complex needs, including learning, communication, and sensory challenges.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
Support the student with daily routines, emotional regulation, and social interactions.
Use visual aids, communication tools, and structured interventions to enhance learning and engagement.
Liaise with parents, therapists, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to the student's development.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for the child.

Requirements:

Experience working with children with SEN, particularly complex needs (ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, or other learning disabilities).
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of EHCPs (Education, Health & Care Plans) and strategies to support students with additional needs.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
