One of our local authority clients are currently recruiting for an Area Manager. This is a 3 month temporary contract with possible further extension based on budget and performance.

Main Purpose of Post/Job Summary

As Area manager, Adult Safeguarding , you will provide day to day management to the Safeguarding team and Team Around the Adult. You will be responsible for ensuring that we provide high quality services that respond to the needs of the individuals and families we work with, setting standards, utilising quality assurance systems and creating opportunities for leadership at all levels so that best practice can flourish. You'll use a variety of imaginative solutions and responses to make sure we're delivering services in the best way possible. Day to day, you'll collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure good outcomes for adults in Lincolnshire and to promote our achievements. This is an excellent opportunity to use your expertise to make a real difference and improve the lives of adults in and around Lincolnshire through empowering partnerships.

Duties and Responsibilities

* To provide day to day leadership and management to teams within the Adult Safeguarding service area.

* Continuously look for synergies and efficiency savings across area of responsibility.

* Develop and maintain strong and effective partnership relationships with commissioners and partner agencies.

* Contribute to the strategic development of services, and represent the Council in multi-agency and regional settings.

* To support the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Adults Board (LSAB) prevention agenda and other strategies.
