Are you an experienced administrator looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently seeking an Administration and Office Supervisor to join our team. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in providing administrative support to our busy claims teams and ensuring the smooth running of our office. From managing calls and post to coordinating repairs and payments, your contributions will be essential in delivering the highest levels of service to our clients. How you'll make an impact

  • To assist in managing the Administration and CST Teams, as well as working closely with and
    assisting the Business Manager with general office administrative duties such as H&S, office
    events, office suppliers, other adhoc tasks in keeping with the role.
  • Team and Service Delivery responsibilities:
    • Training and mentoring of new joiners;
    • To act as a referral point for the teams;
    • Achieving consistency of delivery;
    • Team, H&S and Office compliance with agreed office protocols;
  • Answering telephone calls made to the Office;
  • Opening, sorting and scanning of incoming post and franking outgoing post;
  • Referencing unreferenced post, this may involve making telephone calls to third parties and their
    motor insurers/solicitors;
  • Sending out repair instructions to engineers, requesting engineers reports and payment packs;
  • Making payments on the system and updating claims records;
  • Photocopying, zipping and scanning of documents
  • Ad hoc projects/tasks as per business need.
  • Absence management for both the Administration and CST Teams;
  • To provide absence cover for the Business Manager;
  • Ad hoc projects/tasks as per business need.

About You

  • We are seeking an experienced and tenured administrator who is either looking for the next step or someone who has already gained supervisory experience
  • Good organisational, time management and communication skills are very important
  • Someone who can work well on their own and in a close team environment
  • Can prioritise and use initiative as well as being keen, and positive, in providing full support services
  • Excellent reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to balance and prioritise workload;
  • Ability to delegate tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
