We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support students with their learning and development.

Our client school are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic LSA to help support the students of the school with their, education, well being and behaviour.

Overview:

• Title: Learning Support Assistant
• Pay: £83.50 per day minimum
• Location: Llandaff, Cardiff
• Hours: Full time/Part time, - Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 3:15 pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a English as a Learning Support Assistant

• Helping bridge the gap for learners where English isn't their first language
• Work in partnership with other members of staff to support the learners in their care
• Supporting the class Teacher with the planning for the lesson
• Support learners individually, in small groups and on a full-class basis
• Engage learners with both classroom and outside-classroom activities
• Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies

The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a Learning Support Assistant

• Registration as a School Learning Support Worker with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
• References covering the last two years (no gaps)
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• The right to work in the UK
