Jr Maintenance Engineer

£30,000 plus Overtime and Full Package

My client is a global manufacture in the aerospace industry with over 16,000 staff worldwide who generated over £3 billion in sales in 2023.

Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for exceptional individuals to join them on their journey.

Based at their Bristol site, the Jr Maintenance Engineer will be crucial to maintaining the reliability of onsite Machine Tools.

Job Summary

The Jr Maintenance Engineer will provide time-planned maintenance activities ranging from aligning and basic fault diagnosis on 5-Axis CNC Machines to working in with team leaders to ensure all machine tools are in excellent working condition to avoid breakdowns and delays in manufacturing processes.

How You'll Contribute

* Develop program to reduce/prevent/eliminate machine failures

* Work with Planner to implement and maintain preventive maintenance program

* Ensure maintainability of new installations

* Conduct forensic and Root Cause Failure Analysis of machine failures

* Provide technical advice to maintenance team

* Maintain and analyse machine data and history records to predict maintenance needs

* Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment

Essential

* Experience carrying out basic Maintenance on CNC Machining Centres

* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work with various levels of the business

* Basic IT Skills

Desirable

* Maintenance, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications

* Previous Maintenance experience

* Knowledge of various Microsoft Packages
