Position: UKVI Compliance, System, and Operations Manager
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days on campus, 2 days remote)
Contract: Full-time, 6-month fixed term contract
Salary: £46,000-£50,000 dependent on experience

The university's modern, state-of-the-art campus fosters a vibrant and collaborative community. The role is part of a dynamic and collaborative team based at the new building which opened in September 2024 located in accessible London location.
Role Overview:
The UKVI Compliance, System and Operations Manager will ensure compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations for international students. Reporting directly to the Director of Visa & Immigration Compliance, the role involves managing a small team of seven to oversee compliance processes, managing systems, and leading operations related to student visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance with UKVI regulations, including sponsor licence responsibilities and system management (SMS, CAS, etc.)
- Oversee internal audits, reporting, and attendance monitoring systems (e.g., SEAtS)
- Lead the operational process for issuing Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) during peak periods
- Provide expert advice on visa-related issues to staff, students, and departments
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including UKVI and legal advisors
- Develop and deliver training to ensure staff are up to date with UKVI compliance obligations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Management or leadership experience in a UKVI compliance role within higher education or a similar sector
- In-depth knowledge of UK immigration law, particularly the Student and Skilled Worker routes
- Experience managing a UKVI Sponsor Licence and working with the Sponsor Management System (SMS)
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
