Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher (Permanent Position)

We are looking for a Design Technology Teacher to work alongside the department in delivering engaging lessons. The successful candidate will teach across various key stages, developing students' practical skills, creativity, and passion for the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology.
  • Encourage students through engaging and practical teaching methods.
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in Design and Technology or Food Technology.
  • Proven experience of teaching Design and Technology or Food Technology at secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Desirable:

  • Experience or interest in taking on leadership roles.
  • Experience in curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
