Release and Transition Manager - BirminghamHybrid workingSalary up to £55,000Release and Transition Manager required for a leading client based in Birmingham. My client is currently seeking a Release and Transition Manager to come on board to responsible for coordinating and overseeing the release deployment and transition to business-as-usual operations throughout the service lifecycle.In this dynamic, newly created role, you will take ownership of the release policy, planning, scheduling, and scope, along with managing change requests, resources, and ensuring alignment of release goals with both business and customer requirements. You'll monitor and report on release progress, quality, risks, and issues, and manage the partnership with the third-party testing provider. In addition, you'll work closely with the Test Manager and Technical Change Managers to supervise all technical change implementations.Key skills and Responsibilities,* Release and Transition Manager experience* Experience with ITIL processes for Release, Change, and Configuration Management, or a background in Project Management.* Proven ability to influence stakeholders across various functions and organizational levels.* Familiarity with DevOps or similar collaborative tools for managing releases.* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall) and testing methodologies.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.Interested?
