Location - West Midlands

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Freelance MEP Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 Build Contractor in in Birmingham.

MEP Quantity Surveyor Role

To lead and manage the M&E subcontractor package on a local government scheme in the West Midlands

MEP Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:-

Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceededMEP Quantity Surveyor Requirements:-

HNC/HND Building Services / OR BSc Quantity Surveying & Construction Management
Experience of working for an M&E Subcontractor is preferable
Experience of working with high value M&E packages
JCT OR NEC Forms of ContractRate

PAYE Option Available £350 Day Rate
