Job Title: Senior Test Technician - Engines

Location: Bedfordshire

Salary: Up to £42,000 depending on experience

Join our client's Engine Test Centre as a Senior Engine Test Technician. You will be responsible for running propulsion systems in a testbed environment, contributing to end-to-end customer test programmes on a variety of prototype units.

Responsibilities:

Validate engine running and associated systems in a test cell environment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults with the Engineering team.
Perform servicing and hardware changes.
Operate the test cell using automated and manual test cycles.
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:

City and Guilds, Full Apprenticeship, or ONC/HNC in Automotive Engineering.
Strong automotive background, preferably in a test cell environment.
Excellent understanding of engine fundamentals and related systems.
Ability to work independently after probation.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

This would suit someone who has worked within the Automotive, Aerospace, Marine Engineering, Defence, Renewable Energy or other industries.
