Production Laboratory Technician - Permanent - Stirlingshire

The Role: We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Lab Technician to support a dynamic production team. In this role, you'll help ensure the efficient operation of the lab, contributing to the commercialization of groundbreaking products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce cell cultures while maintaining laboratory efficiency and compliance with SOPs.

* Collaborate closely with supervisors to manage workloads and address production demands.

* Clean and prepare fermentation equipment including us of autoclaves.

* Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring equipment is functional and safe.

* Assist in cross-departmental projects and process improvements as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

* Organized and adaptable, with a flexible approach to work.

* Experience in fast-paced production environments, ideally in biotechnology.

* Familiarity with documentation control processes and quality management principles.

* Passionate about sustainability and the potential of biotechnology.

Experience Required:

* Proven experience in production settings.

* Strong problem-solving abilities and a knack for training and mentoring.

* Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, GMP, HACCP) is a plus.

Details:

* Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week); This will include two weekend days.

* Can be physically demanding and involve lifting up to 20 Kg.
