Description

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and manage the organisation's budget and financial forecasts.
  • Manage a small team
  • Lead the business partnering function
  • Ensure financial compliance with not-for-profit regulatory standards.
  • Implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making to support the organisation's goals.
  • Supervise and mentor staff within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.
  • Analyse financial data and provide recommendations to senior management.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A full accountancy Qualification
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of budgeting, financial forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and auditors.
