Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons for Year 1 students, following the National Curriculum.
• Work on a part-time basis for 2 days each week, collaborating effectively with the partner teacher.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal development of each child.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to enhance the educational experience.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback and support to help every child reach their full potential.
• Participate in school events, extra-curricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
