Lead Quality Engineer

Location: East Oxford

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000

An opportunity has opened for a Lead Quality Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have excellent experience working as a Quality Engineer, ideally with experience of leading a team. They will also have a strong knowledge of a manufacturing environment and auditing experience within ISO 9001.

What they're looking for:

* Experience in a lead position within Quality Engineering

* Experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing background

* ISO 9001 auditing experience

* Internal auditing and documentation

* Document control experience in QMS

* Continuous improvement experience

Lead Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

* Working with the quality and assisting the Quality Manager maintaining ISO 9001

* Drive continuous improvement within the department

* Conduct internal audits to ISO 9001

* Write and amend documents

* Provide some training for junior quality engineers

* Keep track of audits and timelines
