About the Role: You'll be supporting students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism. Working closely with our expert teaching staff, you'll assist in the classroom and participate in outdoor activities like Bushcraft and life skills, playing a key role in the academic and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide personalized support, ensuring students' safety and well-being.
- Help students achieve goals outlined in their Education and Healthcare Plans (EHCPs).
- Implement positive behaviour management techniques tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, accidents, and health and safety matters.
- Encourage teamwork and foster positive social interactions among students.

- Be passionate about working with young people and building trust-based relationships.
- Show patience and skill in managing challenging behaviours.
- Bring creativity and positivity to problem-solving.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Possess basic numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) are preferred but not essential.
