Position Title: LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) Coordinator

Location: North West

About the Company: We are a leading organization that is dedicated to providing high-quality air filtration solutions and ensuring safe and healthy environments for our clients. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and professional LEV Coordinator to join our team.

Position Overview: The LEV Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the operation, maintenance, and compliance of local exhaust ventilation systems within the organization. These systems are designed to control and reduce airborne contaminants such as dust, fumes, vapors, and gases in workplaces, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

System Management:

  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of LEV systems.
  • Ensure all LEV systems are functioning effectively and efficiently.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that LEV systems comply with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with health and safety officers to address any issues or improvements.

Scheduling and Coordination:

  • Schedule regular maintenance and inspections of LEV systems.
  • Coordinate work schedules for site staff involved in LEV system maintenance and operation.

Client and Stakeholder Liaison:

  • Communicate with managers, clients, and regulatory bodies regarding LEV system performance and compliance.
  • Provide reports and updates on LEV system status and any necessary corrective actions.

Administration and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of LEV system inspections, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Manage purchase orders, invoicing clients, and chasing overdue payments related to LEV services.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for audits or inspections.

Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to office staff and site personnel on the proper use and maintenance of LEV systems.
  • Ensure that staff are aware of the importance of LEV systems and their role in maintaining them.

Equipment Management:

  • Purchase necessary equipment for LEV system maintenance and operation.
  • Review warranties and manage the replacement or repair of faulty items.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as an LEV Coordinator/Administrator in the clean air industry.
  • City and Guilds qualification.
  • Strong experience in scheduling work for site staff and liaising with managers/clients.
  • Experience in invoicing clients and chasing payments.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative and office management duties.
